Ann Knowles has been a resident of Salina since 1982. She received her BS and MS degrees from Kansas State University and University of Arizona. While in Arizona, she taught high school, directed governmental affairs for Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, served as director of the Correctional Volunteer Center, and director of the Arizona State Office of Tourism.
